Sean began dancing at age 4 and at age 10 entered the National Ballet School, where he was one of the first recipients of the Peter Dwyer scholarship for outstanding achievement. At the National Ballet School he was trained by such world renowned teachers as Betty Oliphant, Glenn Gilmour, Daniel Sellier, Eric Bruhn, Hector Zaraspe, and Eugene Valukin to mention just a few. During his development years as a dancer he was trained in the Cecchetti, the Royal Academy, and the Vaganova methods of training which helps him bring a wide range of dance knowledge into the dance studio. Upon graduation, he joined the National Ballet of Canada, where he became a soloist within three years. During his eight years with the National Ballet of Canada, he danced many solo and principal roles and worked with and partnered such world renowned artists as, Karen Kain, Rudolph Nureyev, Veronica Tennant, Natalia Makariva, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Anna Botafogo, Elisabeth Terabust, Eva Evdokimova and Evelyn Hart. Sean has also worked with such Choreographic legends in the dance world such as Sir Frederick Ashton, Celia Franca, George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, James Kudelka, Brian Macdonald, John Neumeier, Roland Petite, and Glen Tetley. Mr. Boutilier was a former Principal Dancer and Resident Guest Artist with Ballet Florida and during his dance career has made guest appearances with several major American ballet companies, as well as being a guest soloist with the Canadian Opera Company, performing with Joan Sutherland under the direction of Richard Bonning. He also appeared in many dance related films and shows including the “Karen Kain Special”. He has served on various Advisory Boards, including the Mississauga Arts Council and Ryerson Polytechnic University. Mr. Boutilier holds his Advanced Cecchetti Diploma where he was awarded the level of distinction and is an Associate Diploma Member of the Cecchetti Society. He is also a graduate of the National Ballet of Canada's teachers training program. All of these achievements make him a highly respected coach, teacher and adjudicator, bringing a wealth of experience from the world of dance into the studio. |

Sheona Bell-Williston, named in 1992 to the position of Co-Artistic Director of the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance in Mississauga, is a graduate of the Dance Program at the University of Waterloo and the National Ballet School of Canada where she was awarded her Teacher Training Certificate. Mrs. Bell-Williston also has her Advanced Cecchetti Diploma and is an Associate Licentiate Member of the Cecchetti Society. As ballet assistant at the National Ballet School and as a faculty member at the Etobicoke School of the Arts, Sheona continues developing her skills as a teacher. She finds great rewards in sharing her knowledge of dance with children and adults to develop a high standard of technique in the studio. Some of her students have moved on to the National Ballet School and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. |

Christina joined the Academy in January of 2008. A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Commerce, Christina began her career in operations management in the entertainment sector of Toronto. She had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the organization of many unique events such as the annual Toronto International Film Festival and the visit of the Queen of England, to name a few. Christina’s career took another turn when she joined the education sector and tried her hand at unionized employee management. However her busy schedule did not keep her away form her passion for fitness. Every free moment was spent on acquiring her fitness certifications in Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, and Nutrition. |

| Mark Williston was born in New Brunswick, where he graduated from Oulton’s Business College with a certificate in Accounting. He has brought his experience in both business and public relations to his position as Administrative Director at the Mississauga school. He is currently a member of the Mississauga Board of Trade and an active volunteer and supporter of Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. | ![]() |

| Lynn has been the administrative assistant at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance since 1996, cheerfully assisting the students and parents with various duties from registration, class photos to boutique sales. She provides administrative support to the teaching staff as well. Lynn is an experienced office manager with an extensive background in bookkeeping, purchasing and co-ordination of various activities. | Recently graduating from the University of Toronto, Sara trained at The Dance Factory for sixteen years in all disciplines of dance as well as gymnastics training. She competed across Canada and the United States for fourteen years. During the course of her dance career, Sara won many scholarship awards including the title of Teen Miss Dance of Canada Chapter #43. As well as being a dancer herself, Sara has been teaching for many years at several studios in the Toronto area and is a qualified instructor through Dance Masters of America. Her student’s have been recognized and have won numerous awards throughout Canada and the United Sates. Sara’s love for dance is passed on to her students through inspiration and dedication. | Tanya is a graduate of The National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University. While attending NBS, Tanya became an Associate member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, in both the Cecchetti Ballet and National Character branches, as well as a full member of the Royal Academy of Dancing. She recently upgraded her status with the Cecchetti Society by completing her Associate Diploma teaching examination. Tanya is currently teaching full time students at the University of Toronto in the Faculty of Physical Education and Health and completing her Masters degree at York University. | ![]() |

Michelle is an enthusiastic performer, choreographer, adjudicator and teacher who celebrates dance with an innovative style and inspiring class! Michelle’s dance career began in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario where she trained at Bojangles Art of Dance. While at Bojangles she successfully attained her Intermediate Ballet Certificate for The Royal Academy of Dancing. She went on to receive extensive training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where she assisted some of America’s hottest teachers. She currently teaches for numerous studios and workshops throughout Ontario and the United States. Michelle has choreographed many award winning competitive pieces, hair, fashion and comedy shows. She choreographed for artist David Michael Anthony including his music video “Supernatural Rollercoaster”. Michelle’s performance experience includes Dr. Phil’s ‘The Power Within’ Seminar, Bell Mobility’s Celebrity Gala, K-OS “Superstar” music video, The Wes Veldink Movement: Walking through Walls, The Honey Kats Gala 2002, Under Construction & Company, Broadway a Tropea, David Michael Anthony’s “Supernatural Rollercoaster” music video and various industrials, films, and television specials. Nadiene began her dance training at the age of three under the excellent direction of Gladys Forrester, with whom she studied both ballet and highland dance. At the age of 7, she joined the Junior Associate Program at the National Ballet School, and was accepted to the full-time program when she was 9. At Canada's National Ballet School, Etobicoke School of the Arts and other renowned institutions, Nadiene received extensive training in both ballet and modern dance from teachers such as Betty Oliphant, Carole Chadwick, Frank Augustyn, Laurel Toto, Anuschka Roes, Glenn Gilmour, Gabby Kamino, Pat Miner, Peggy Baker, David Earle and Danny Grossman. Nadiene is an Honours graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School. As a teacher she holds both the A.I.S.T.D. Cecchetti and R.A.D. Diploma and is also a B.A.T.D. Highland and Scottish National member and an adjudicator on the SOBHD judges panel. Nadiene is also certified in A.I.S.T.D. National Dance. Nadiene is a champion Highland dancer and was a world championship finalist in Cowal, Scotland. Nadine operates her own Highland dancing school and has performed both locally and internationally including the acclaimed show "Needfire", at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. She enjoyed many successful years in acting and modelling and has been a member of ACTRA for over 25 years. Nadiene spends a lot of her time travelling throughout North America and Great Britain as a guest teacher and professional choreographer at workshops and summer schools such as the American Academy of Ballet in New York. As a professional choreographer some of her works have been performed internationally. Nadiene also teaches ballet at Etobicoke School of the Arts and was most recently on the academic staff at the National Ballet School teaching history of art and ballet. Nadiene brings a vast range of dance knowledge and training to SBAD and thoroughly enjoys teaching here. |

Glenn Gilmour started his dance training at age 5 in Windsor ON. with tap lessons. After taking several forms of dance he took his first ballet lesson at age 8. Upon graduating from grade 13, and his local dance school Glenn entered the National Ballet Company. In a very short period of time Glenn's technical ability and the energy and excitement he brought to the stage was recognized and the National Ballet Company promoted him to soloist after 3 years and then to principle dancer 2 years later. Amongst the many wonderful choreographers Glenn had the opportunity to work with such as David Adams, Erik Bruhn, Celia Franca, Walter Gore, Andrée Howard, Norman Morris, Grant Strate. John Cranko stands out to be one of the highlights in Glenn's time with the National Ballet Company. In 1964 Glenn went to dance with Ballet Rambert in London England, as a principle dancer. Upon returning to the National Ballet of Canada, Glenn spent another 4 years with the National Ballet Company as a principle dancer. Glenn was then invited by Betty Oliphant to join the National Ballet School's teaching staff. With his tenure at the National Ballet School Glenn developed into a world class teacher and examiner with the Cecchetti Society. He has also brought his incredible knowledge and teaching talent to such famous schools as The Royal Swedish Ballet School, The Royal Danish Ballet School and Company to mention just a few. What Glenn brings to his teaching is a sense of theatre and a reason for every movement as well as an incredible sense of technique challenging his students to achieve their personal best. Glenn Gilmour's talent in the studio is not just limited to teaching but he is also considered to be a choreographer of renowned recognition.

Robert has over 25 years of experience dancing, teaching, choreographing and adjudicating. A full member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Stage Division Tap and Jazz, a former Director on the Ontario Branch of the C.D.T.A., Robert has also attained his Intermediate level Cecchetti through examination by the National Ballet of Canada, and a post graduate and scholarship recipient of the Dance Master’s of America Teacher’s Training School in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Modern. Robert is now the head of the Tap and Jazz Department of the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance, Etobicoke Ontario. As Co-founder and director of the PROFESSIONAL ADJUDICATOR'S ALLIANCE Robert and his partner Scott Kufske hope to unite and educate adjudicators across North America, as well as helping young and aspiring new adjudicators get a good start to the world of judging. Mr. Jensen has been a free lance teacher in south western Ontario for many years, training and developing his talents as an inspiring choreographer and instructor. His award winning choreography has been showcased at many competitions and festivals throughout Ontario. He has studied with such teachers as Dulcie Lee, in Melbourne Australia, Sam Fiorello, Bob Rizzo, Gus Giordano, and Tom Ralabate and has taught workshops, summer schools and master classes across Canada and into the United States. Some of Mr. Jensen’s students have gone on to The National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet School, The New York City Rockettes, and many film and television credits. Robert is an accomplished and sought after adjudicator, judging competitions across Canada annually, has danced professionally in many industrial shows nationally, has worked professionally with Patti Labelle, Rita McNeil, the Bare Naked Ladies and Will Ferrell. He has appeared in several movies, commercials and T.V. specials. |

Elizabeth Kmiec is a professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, Pilates instructor, personal trainer and holds a BFA in dance and theatre from Ryerson University. She works in and around Toronto and has performed works by Robert Desrosier, David Earle and many independent choreographers. Elizabeth performed for three seasons, including a six week tour to Brazil, with Newton Moraes Dance Theatre, and since 2005 with Idac, a collective of independent artists. She loves seeing the joy of dance shine through in all of her students and hope that they continue to appreciate this magical art! |

Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Stefanie began her training at a very early age and continued her dance education in such places as New York, Chicago and Kentucky. | Jacqueline Power trained as Les Grand Ballet Canadiens from age 12 to 19 and graduated from their four year teachers course in 1975. She also trained in jazz and modern, and has completed the advanced levels in both the Modern and National branches of the I.S.T.D. She taught for the L’Academie des Grands Ballet Canadiens in their "out of town" schools of Sept Iles, Quebec and Cornwall, Ontario from 1975 to 1978 and then at the Academie in Montreal until 1983. After moving to Ontario, she took time away from teaching to have her two children and returned to dance in 1990, taking classes at the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance where she started teaching in 1993. | ![]() |

Professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Ms Valiente Sánchez specializes in teaching Ballet, Floor Barre and Modern. She performs Latin dances like Salsa, Danzon at many types of special events in various countries like Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica and Grenada Island. Winner of Teacher of the Year at St. Lawrence College in Canada (2007) and won Best Choreographer award from Dance Studio Tecamachalco Mexico. With 30 years of extensive experience in performing and teaching, Ms Valiente Sánchez started her career as a Ballet teacher at the National Ballet School in Mexico City and complemented her studies at The Imperial Society of teachers of Dancing as an associate. She has worked for Professional Training Programs with The Academia del la Danza Mexicana, and Modulo Dancistica Company in Mexico. In Canada she has been working for Ballet Creole Company as a company member and teacher. Ms Valiente Sánchez has also collaborated as a dancer with Santee Smith, Alejandro Ronceria, Milton Meyerles, Gaby Camino, Patrick Parson, Donna Greenberg among others. Her dance experience in Classical and Neo-Classical Ballet, European Folklore, and later on Musicals such as Cats, Saturday Night Fever, Walt Disney Tour “Dream is a Wish”, and other television programs and commercials, has given her the opportunity to develop her creativity as Choreographer and Costume Designer. Ms Valiente Sánchez has also created concepts for dance companies, and specials events for businesses such as Reebok, Toyota, Bimbo, LG and Sol. She has extensive experience in managing massive events and shows like soccer games, carnivals, and parades. Jaclyn recently attained her certificate (through International Academy of Dance Adjudicators) as a certified adjudicator and is currently working on receiving her Cecchetti Associate Diploma, as well as her Cecchetti Advanced II Diploma. |

Dance has been apart of Kaitlyn's life for the past 18 years. In those years she has studied such styles as jazz, lyrical, tap, ballet, acro, hip-hop and modern. She has competed throughout North America since the age of 6 and has received over-all standings and scholarships from her dancing and from her choreography. Being a dance major graduate from Cawthra Park S.S. She has had the opportunity to work with many great teachers from companies such as "TDT", "Alvin Alley", "CDT" and many more. Her TV credits include "Never Let Her Go" a TV movie with Mark Harman, "DeGrassi High" and "TSN" Gym Rock". Kaitlyn has also over the past 8 years been doing some modeling for commercials, ads and promos. Kaitlyn was a member of Annie Wood's company Combustion where she performed in the Frida International Festival and for the "Honey Cats". Some more of her show performances include Fashion Cares 2002 and was a cast member on The Norweign Star Cruise line. Kaitlyn is very excited to continue her dance career and see what the future holds. |

Jane Wooding was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto in 1970, and went on to study in England, Holland and Germany. Entering the National Ballet of Canada in 1972, Jane performed Romantic, Classical and Contemporary repertoire, working with such exceptional mentors as Celia Franca, Karen Kain, Veronica Tennant, Erik Bruhn, Rudolf Nureyev, and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Joining the National Ballet School staff in 1978, Jane taught ballet, repertoire, pointework and pedagogy for 8 years. She also rehearsed young dancers for National Ballet of Canada’s Nutcracker from 1979 until 1992, including two months in Tokyo and Osaka, preparing Japanese students for the Company’s tour of the Orient. Jane has also taught on the faculties of the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, York University and George Brown Dance, teaching ballet, pointework and repertoire. A popular guest teacher, Jane has also taught for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, L’Ecole de danse de Quebec, Dance Teq, Dance Fuzion, Boston Ballet Summer School, Balletmet Summer School in Columbus, Ohio and is a founding Director of Fleet-Wood Dancentre in Collingwood, Ontario. Ms. Wooding is a Fellow and an Examiner for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Cecchetti Faculty. Past Chair of the Ontario Branch, Jane was elected to the National Executive Council of the Cecchetti Society of Canada serving from 2000 – 2005. In 1997, Jane received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for outstanding community service in the Collingwood area. She is an Advisor to the Muskoka Ballet Scholarship Fund, and has served on the Board of the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts. |

Tre's early dance schooling (age five) in ballet, tap and jazz technique is what has shaped her into who she is today. Tre has performed at the Canadian Juno Awards, Canadian Idol and all across the United States, St. Kitts, Australia, Japan and Europe. Tre was featured in the internationally-acclaimed documentary "Breakin' In: The Making of a Hip Hop Dancer", which highlighted her as one of Canada's top rising stars. Her acting debut as "Candy" in the DVD film "Save the Last Dance 2" had her outshine the main cast. You can see Tre as "Michelle" , one of the leads in the feature film "How She Move". "How She Move" was an official dramatic pick for the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. | Tiffany McLean is the former owner/director of Tiffany's Dance Elite. Tiffany trained and resided in Los Angeles for one year on a full dance scholarship for Tremaine Dance Centre. She travels across Canada and the United States teaching master classes, choreographing and adjudicating. She has choreographed industrial shows for Wella, Clairol, The Gemini Awards and The Toronto AIDS benefit "Fashion Cares". Blake McGrath, born November 21, 1983, in Mississauga, Ontario, is a Canadian professional dancer, best known for being one of the contestants in the first season of FOX's dance competition, "So You Think You Can Dance. At the age of twenty-one, McGrath had already danced with stars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Ashanti, Destiny's Child, P!nk, Craig David, and Jewel. He has appeared in Gap campaigns (with Sarah Jessica Parker), and in advertisements for iPod, Old Navy (which he also choreographed), Hummer, and Janet Jackson. In 2001, McGrath was chosen to perform on Michael Jackson's thirtieth anniversary special. In 2004, McGrath performed alongside Paulina Rubio at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards. In addition, McGrath appeared in the 2007 reality TV show "Dance Life" produced by Jennifer Lopez, and also graced the pages of several magazines such as the cover of Hotshoes and Dance Spirit Magazine December 2006 issue. McGrath's film credits include the Oscar award winner "Chicago" and the 2005 movie musical, "Rent". McGrath is now branching out as an entertainer. He is choreographing more and more in addition to acting and singing. He continues to travel the glob, teaching Master Class workshops to inspire children through the art of dance. |
