Sean began dancing at age 4 and at age 10 entered the National Ballet School, where he was one of the first recipients of the Peter Dwyer scholarship for outstanding achievement. At the National Ballet School he was trained by such world renowned teachers as Betty Oliphant, Glenn Gilmour, Daniel Sellier, Eric Bruhn, Hector Zaraspe, and Eugene Valukin to mention just a few. During his development years as a dancer he was trained in the Cecchetti, the Royal Academy, and the Vaganova methods of training which helps him bring a wide range of dance knowledge into the dance studio. Upon graduation, he joined the National Ballet of Canada, where he became a soloist within three years. During his eight years with the National Ballet of Canada, he danced many solo and principal roles and worked with and partnered such world renowned artists as, Karen Kain, Rudolph Nureyev, Veronica Tennant, Natalia Makariva, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Anna Botafogo, Elisabeth Terabust, Eva Evdokimova and Evelyn Hart. Sean has also worked with such Choreographic legends in the dance world such as Sir Frederick Ashton, Celia Franca, George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, James Kudelka, Brian Macdonald, John Neumeier, Roland Petite, and Glen Tetley. Mr. Boutilier was a former Principal Dancer and Resident Guest Artist with Ballet Florida and during his dance career has made guest appearances with several major American ballet companies, as well as being a guest soloist with the Canadian Opera Company, performing with Joan Sutherland under the direction of Richard Bonning. He also appeared in many dance related films and shows including the “Karen Kain Special”. He has served on various Advisory Boards, including the Mississauga Arts Council and Ryerson Polytechnic University. Mr. Boutilier holds his Advanced Cecchetti Diploma where he was awarded the level of distinction and is an Associate Diploma Member of the Cecchetti Society. He is also a graduate of the National Ballet of Canada's teachers training program. All of these achievements make him a highly respected coach, teacher and adjudicator, bringing a wealth of experience from the world of dance into the studio. |

Michelle began her training at the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance at the age of three, leading her successfully into over 20 years of experience in dance. Her dance repertoire consists of jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, acro and modern dance. Not only does she enjoy teaching at S.B.A.D, Michelle is also delighted to be the administrative director for the S.B.A.D team. |

| Lynn has been the administrative assistant at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance since 1996, cheerfully assisting the students and parents with various duties from registration, class photos to boutique sales. She provides administrative support to the teaching staff as well. Lynn is an experienced office manager with an extensive background in bookkeeping, purchasing and co-ordination of various activities. Helena is the owner of Inkwell Illustration Studio, providing finished printed material from concept to completion; design and photography for both print and web for over the past 19 years. As a formally trained technical illustrator and former architectural model maker, Helena now predominately manages, builds, and designs websites for a large variety of very different businesses as well as manages a multitude of websites for a webhosting provider. “It is with great pleasure that I am able to support the SBAD website and newsletters. Being a dance mom, as well as a very busy individual I appreciate the importance of communication in order to plan a schedule efficiently and I am glad that I can help out others in the electronic world of communication.” |

Trudy is a Producer, Creative Director and Choreographer with over twenty–five years experience in the entertainment industry. At age seven her career began as a child actress and model. She has since never left the business, having performed in television series, specials, on radio and in theatre. For the last twenty years she has directed and choreographed productions all over the world. Selected theatre credits include: “Song & Dance”, which was nominated for 3 Dora awards,” Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story”, at the Shubert Theatre on Broadway, “Bits and Pieces” in London's West End, “The Hobbit”, “Watership Down”, and “Home and Away” all U.K. tours. She has directed and choreographed the Christmas Show at the St Jacob’s playhouse for the last three years. Trudy has produced and directed fourteen Armed Forces Shows, touring from Israel to the North Pole. She has also been selected to produce many large-scale events including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for The New BMO stadium, Alberta’s 100th Anniversary Tattoo and the “Opening Ceremonies of the US Olympic Track and Field Trials” in New Orleans, which included 1700 performers. Trudy is the President of "diversified.tv", a twenty-year-old company designed to provide entertainment solutions for promotional business events. Selected credits include: General Motors, Royal Bank, Creative Memories, American Express, Sears, London Drugs and the Canadian National Exhibition to name a few. |

| Sara began her training 26 years ago in Mississauga and competed for 14 years throughout Canada and the United States. A graduate from the University of Toronto in 2005, Sara continued her dance career through teaching. She completed her teacher training examinations in 2002 through Dance Masters of America. Sara’s students have been recognized and have won numerous awards as well as choreography awards. Sara’s goal is to bring the best of dance to her students through inspiration and dedication. | ![]() |

| Sarra Al-Nowaiser began her years at the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance at the age of nine, as a student. After progressing through, and eventually graduating from the competition program, she continued her training in the Dance program at Ryerson University. Apart from working toward her BFA at school, Sarra also stage manages at the Upper Canada Repertory Company, as well as teaching and choreographing for their musicals. | Meredith Victoria Anderson | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Meredith Victoria Anderson, originally from Spruce Grove Alberta, completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours with a specialization in Dance at York University in 2009. While at school she had the opportunity to workshop under and work with a breadth of dance artists including Susan Cash, David Earle, Evelyn Hart, Susan Lee, Holly Small, William Yong and Sashar Zarif. During her time at York she also created her own choreography including producing an evening length performance at the Winchester Street Theatre, Auroraline. Meredith has also worked with lighting design including student works both in theatre and dance at York, Auroraline, and Life Games at the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival. Currently Meredith is the arts management intern at the Dance Umbrella of Ontario and teaches at local community dance schools around Toronto and the GTA. In the future Meredith looks to develop herself as a performer, choreographer, teacher and administrator, with the goal of creating her own dance company, training program and dance festival. | ![]() |

Michelle is an enthusiastic performer, choreographer, adjudicator and teacher who celebrates dance with an innovative style and inspiring class! Michelle’s dance career began in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario where she trained at Bojangles Art of Dance. While at Bojangles she successfully attained her Intermediate Ballet Certificate for The Royal Academy of Dancing. She went on to receive extensive training at Broadway Dance Center in New York City where she assisted some of America’s hottest teachers. She currently teaches for numerous studios and workshops throughout Ontario and the United States. Michelle has choreographed many award winning competitive pieces, hair, fashion and comedy shows. She choreographed for artist David Michael Anthony including his music video “Supernatural Rollercoaster”. Michelle’s performance experience includes Dr. Phil’s ‘The Power Within’ Seminar, Bell Mobility’s Celebrity Gala, K-OS “Superstar” music video, The Wes Veldink Movement: Walking through Walls, The Honey Kats Gala 2002, Under Construction & Company, Broadway a Tropea, David Michael Anthony’s “Supernatural Rollercoaster” music video and various industrials, films, and television specials. In addition, she had the pleasure of performing as the opening act for N’SYNC’! Michelle is a dancer with energy and passion for the fun and love of dance! |

Nadiene began her dance training at the age of three under the excellent direction of Gladys Forrester, with whom she studied both ballet and highland dance. At the age of 7, she joined the Junior Associate Program at the National Ballet School, and was accepted to the full-time program when she was 9. At Canada's National Ballet School, Etobicoke School of the Arts and other renowned institutions, Nadiene received extensive training in both ballet and modern dance from teachers such as Betty Oliphant, Carole Chadwick, Frank Augustyn, Laurel Toto, Anuschka Roes, Glenn Gilmour, Gabby Kamino, Pat Miner, Peggy Baker, David Earle and Danny Grossman. Nadiene is an Honours graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School. As a teacher she holds both the A.I.S.T.D. Cecchetti and R.A.D. Diploma and is also a B.A.T.D. Highland and Scottish National member and an adjudicator on the SOBHD judges panel. Nadiene is also certified in A.I.S.T.D. National Dance. Nadiene is a champion Highland dancer and was a world championship finalist in Cowal, Scotland. Nadiene operates her own Highland dancing school and has performed both locally and internationally including the acclaimed show "Needfire", at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. She enjoyed many successful years in acting and modelling and has been a member of ACTRA for over 25 years. Nadiene spends a lot of her time travelling throughout North America and Great Britain as a guest teacher and professional choreographer at workshops and summer schools such as the American Academy of Ballet in New York. As a professional choreographer some of her works have been performed internationally. Nadiene also teaches ballet at Etobicoke School of the Arts and was most recently on the academic staff at the National Ballet School teaching history of art and ballet. Nadiene brings a vast range of dance knowledge and training to SBAD and thoroughly enjoys teaching here. |

Corey’s passion for music and dance started at a young age and has since been trained competitively in almost all forms of dance. Aside from his training, Corey has been involved with the professional industry of acting and dance for just under 10 years, and in doing so, has had the pleasure and opportunity to work and train with some of North America’s finest choreographers, producers, and directors. He has performed in the Fifa U-20 World Cup opening ceremonies, the General Motors’ Industrial alongside Shawn Desman, and played Bix as a “Corny Collins Council Member” in Hairspray The Movie. Corey has utilized his athleticism and art to contribute to many charities and organizations including the Israeli Cancer Research Fund, World Partnership Walk, Hip Hop Away From Violence, and the SickKids Hospital Foundation. Over the past number of years, Corey has been teaching and choreographing with dance studios across Canada, including the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts youth program, which has allowed him to share his unique style, strength, and enthusiasm with a wide array of students and teachers. Corey prides himself on his professionalism as a performer, an attribute which has helped him in gaining a positive reputation within the acting and dance industries. Mr. Jensen has over 25 years of experience dancing, teaching, choreographing and adjudicating. A full member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Stage Division Tap and Jazz, a former Director on the Ontario Branch of the C.D.T.A., Mr. Jensen has also attained his Intermediate level Cecchetti through examination by the National Ballet of Canada, and a post graduate and scholarship recipient of the Dance Master’s of America Teacher’s Training School in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Modern. Mr. Jensen is the head of the Tap and Jazz Department of the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance, Etobicoke Ontario. As Co-founder and director of the PROFESSIONAL ADJUDICATOR'S ALLIANCE Mr. Jensen and his partner Scott Kufske hope to unite and educate adjudicators across North America, as well as helping young and aspiring new adjudicators get a good start to the world of judging. Mr. Jensen has been a free lance teacher in south western Ontario for many years, training and developing his talents as an inspiring choreographer and instructor. His award winning choreography has been showcased at many competitions and festivals throughout Ontario. He has studied with such teachers as Dulcie Lee, in Melbourne Australia, Sam Fiorello, Bob Rizzo, Gus Giordano, and Tom Ralabate and has taught workshops, summer schools and master classes across Canada and into the United States. Some of Mr. Jensen’s students have gone on to The National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet School and The New York City Rockettes. Other students have achieved many film and television credits. Mr. Jensen is an accomplished and sought after adjudicator, judging competitions across Canada annually, has danced professionally in many industrial shows nationally, has worked professionally with Patti Labelle, Rita McNeil, the Bare Naked Ladies and Will Ferrell. He has appeared in several movies, commercials and T.V. specials. Mr. Jensen was the choreographer for Genentech/Roche Pharmaceuticals Annual General Meeting. He worked with the senior executives and marketing department Directors to help produce their opening awards ceremonies in Las Vegas Nevada. |

| Elizabeth Kmiec | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Elizabeth Kmiec is a professional dancer, choreographer, actor, teacher, personal trainer and Pilates instructor. She is an Honours graduate of the Ryerson University Dance Program and has since worked in and around Toronto performing original works by Robert Desrosiers, David Earle, Heidi Strauss and Darryl Tracy to name a few. Elizabeth appeared with the Newton Moraes Dance Theatre for three seasons which included a tour to Brazil, and with the independent artist group IDAC since 2005. Recently, her interest of dance on film led her to collaborate with Mississauga based artist P. Marco Veltri. Together, with choreography and performance by Elizabeth, they created A Day in The Life, a short dance film which will be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France in May. Elizabeth loves to see the continued passion for dance through the eyes of new students every year. |

Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Stefanie began her training at a very early age and continued her dance education in such places as New York, Chicago and Kentucky. She also had the opportunity to perform throughout Spain! She is a C.D.T.A. member both in acrobatics and tap divisions as well as certified through the D.E.A. Stefanie as been a guest teacher for numerous summer schools throughout Ontario. She continues to share her passion and knowledge with the students of Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. |

Elizabeth began her dance career at Sean Boutilier at the early age of two, training in all styles of dance. Graduating in 2008 Liz was a member of the Special Training Ballet program and the Competitive dance team. Over the past six years Liz has had the opportunity to guest teach at dance studios across Ontario and is enthusiastic to inspire students with her love of dance. Elizabeth is currently working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Performance Dance at Ryerson University. Liz is always expanding her knowledge of dance traveling to New York and Los Angeles to study with the industry’s most sought after professionals. Liz could not imagine her life without dancing and wants to share her knowledge, technical background and zest for dance with the students at Sean Boutilier. |

Shauneese studied dance at Joanne Chapman’s School of Dance, a well known studio in the dance community. She has extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet, and Acro. Shauneese has her teaching certificate in Stage and Acro with B.A.T.D. and is a member of R.A.D. As a former competitive dancer, she obtained numerous overall standings and scholarships in both national and international competitions. One of her most memorable was being chosen to represent North America in Italy for the Prix de Italia 2006. Shauneese has choreographed numerous award winning routines; most recently the first place routines at O.U.C.H (Ontario University Competition for Hip Hop) 3 years running. Shauneese makes sure her choreography and knowledge of dance is always at the forefront, as she both teaches and attends various workshops throughout North America. With her various roles in film and music videos, Shauneese is able to provide her students with valuable knowledge for those who have a passion to pursue the arts both recreationally and professionally. Her goal as teacher and choreographer is to bring her students talents and abilities to new heights. She is excited to bring her energetic and dynamic personality to Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance and looks forward to creating enjoyable and entertaining classes for her students. |

| Natasha Nitsopoulos | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Natasha’s love for the stage started at a young age as she began dancing and performing at the age of 3. With the majority of her dance training taking place at Vlad’s Dance Company she was introduced to a unique training experience and styles while studying ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary and pointe. Throughout her training, Natasha had the opportunity to work with incredible teachers and choreographers including Tiffany Mclean, Luther Brown, Tyce Diorio and many more. Natasha is an accomplished dancer who has trained and competed across North America and in doing so has received numerous regional and national awards. Soon after Natasha completed her training with Vlad’s Dance Company, she began to share her knowledge and passion for dance through teaching and choreographing for studios across Ontario. Natasha maintains that being a teacher goes beyond just being a dancer and thus designs and implements lesson plans and a curriculum which help her students to develop in a positive and cooperative learning environment. Recently, Natasha has been working with recording artist, Aleesia which has allowed her to showcase her choreography as well as her dance. Natasha has performed live alongside Aleesia at the 2010 Wham Bam Kiss 92.5 show as well as can be spotted in her hit music videos. Natasha is an enthusiastic and creative teacher with a strong passion and love for the art of dance. |

| Jacqueline Power trained as Les Grand Ballet Canadiens from age 12 to 19 and graduated from their four year teachers course in 1975. She also trained in jazz and modern, and has completed the advanced levels in both the Modern and National branches of the I.S.T.D. She taught for the L’Academie des Grands Ballet Canadiens in their "out of town" schools of Sept Iles, Quebec and Cornwall, Ontario from 1975 to 1978 and then at the Academie in Montreal until 1983. After moving to Ontario, she took time away from teaching to have her two children and returned to dance in 1990, taking classes at the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance where she started teaching in 1993. | ![]() |

She has worked for Professional Training Programs as the Academia de la Danza Mexicana, and Modulo Dancistica Company in Mexico. In Canada has been working for Ballet Creole Company as company member and Teacher. Currently at Sean Boutillier Dance Academy as faculty member, and also at St Lawrence College as a choreographer (CATS, Cabaret and currently Joseph), teacher and as Dance coordinator Also has collaborated with Santee Smith, Alejandro Ronceria, Milton Meyerles, Gaby Camino, Patrick Parson, and Donna Greenberg among other Canadian choreographers. | Ashley is a graduate of the Ryerson Theatre School, where she received a Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance. She trained extensively in many dance disciplines as a student of Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance in Mississauga and holds her Advanced I certificate in Cecchetti Ballet, and her Intermediate certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance. Ashley attended Cawthra Park Secondary School, completing the Regional Arts Program as a dance major, and during that time, was privileged to perform a solo at World Youth Day on the Downsview stage. Ashley has also had the pleasure of performing in fFIDA Dance Festival, and for the last two years has been working with the Jean Ann Ryan Production Company. Jaclyn is an enthusiastic performer, choreographer and dedicated teacher. Jaclyn began her career in Toronto, Ontario with Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. Throughout her training at the Academy, she was able to study all genres of dance. Jaclyn has successfully attained her Cecchetti Advanced I Diploma, as well as her RAD Intermediate Certificate. Jaclyn recently attained her certificate (through International Academy of Dance Adjudicators) as a certified adjudicator and has achieved her P.A.E.C. teacher’s certificate. Jaclyn is currently working on receiving her Cecchetti Associate Diploma, as well as her Cecchetti Advanced II Diploma. |

Currently working on obtaining her Master of Science in Education, Daniela has had some fabulous experiences in her career and intends to continue that in the future! As a performer she has appeared in such productions as Grease, Westside Story, Godspell, and Little Shop of Horrors to name a few! Having had vocal training from Marat Maxutov for over 15 years, she has a developed a smooth classical soprano tone as well as a strong Broadway sound. In 2001, Daniela recorded and released her first album titled “Falling In Love” with the help of Riviera Records. In 2004 she had the honour of being crowned Miss Canada Plus, encouraging and promoting positive self esteem in young women. Daniela has directed many productions for Mississauga Youth Theatre, and continues to do so at present. Creating classes in improvisation, musical theatre, voice, and movement Daniela has enjoyed working with young people immensely and looks forward to continuing to do so in the future! |

| Farida Amirhanova, Director of Music and Head Accompanist | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Farida began her love for music with her first lesson at the age of 5, and studied for 20 years. She completed Music School for Gifted Children, then attended Music College and the Music Conservatory. She has extensive education as a pianist, accompanist, choir conductor, piano teacher, music theory teacher, and a history of art and history of music teacher. After finishing her education, she worked at the Music Conservatory as a piano teacher and as a conductor of the childrens and adults choirs. She worked as an accompanist for the Latvian National Ballet and Opera Theatre, and the Latvian Olympic team of Artistic Gymnastics. In 2002, Farida moved to Toronto and started working at well-known ballet schools and companies such as the Performing Dance Art Inc., the Oakville School of Dance, the University of Toronto, Ballet Jorgen Canada and Ontario Ballet Theatre. In 2003, Farida became part of the SBAD staff. “I am very happy to work at SBAD. I feel this place is like my second home and my family. I am very proud to work together with such professional dance teachers. I enjoy the warm atmosphere of our Academy”. |

| Desmond Gaspar, Pianist | ||||||||||||||||||||||
This is Mr. Gaspar's third year at the Sean Boutilier Academy where he accompanies dance classes for Glenn Gilmour, Elizabeth Kmiec and Alejandra Sanchez. Mr Gaspar's career as Organist, composer, conductor and pianist has brought him to various venues in Canada, the United States and Europe. He was the recipient of numerous performance and competition awards as a student and continues an eclectic career in liturgical music, dance accompaniment, song writing, and other disciplines. His teachers include Earle Moss (piano), Heather Spry (Organ) and Molly Sclater(Theory). He was the recipient of the prestigious Healey Willan Award for the FRCCO designation awarded by the Royal Canadian College of Organists. He currently lives in Stratford in a nifty loft with his pet rabbit, nicknamed, 'Mouse'. |

| Maryna is a honours graduate of the Solomea Krushenyska Music College and the Mykola Lysenko Conservatory of Music in Lviv, Ukraine where she obtained a M. Mus specializing in piano accompaniment. She has extensive experience in piano accompaniment and pedagogy, accompanied professional singers, musicians and choirs both in Ukraine, working at the Philharmonia in Lviv and later Kyiv, and now in Canada. Her passion for dance and movement has inspired her to specialize in dance accompaniment. She has worked at the Sean Boutilier School of Dance since 1994, and also for the Claude Watson School of the Arts, Children's Dance Theatre, Russian Academy of Dance, DanceTeq, Classics Dance Studio (Oakville), Metro Movement dance studio. Maryna also works as a freelance accompanist for Kiwanis competitions, RCM examinations and University auditions. | ![]() |

Tre's early dance schooling (age five) in ballet, tap and jazz technique is what has shaped her into who she is today. Tre has performed at the Canadian Juno Awards, Canadian Idol and all across the United States, St. Kitts, Australia, Japan and Europe. Tre was featured in the internationally-acclaimed documentary "Breakin' In: The Making of a Hip Hop Dancer", which highlighted her as one of Canada's top rising stars. Her acting debut as "Candy" in the DVD film "Save the Last Dance 2" had her outshine the main cast. You can see Tre as "Michelle" , one of the leads in the feature film "How She Move". "How She Move" was an official dramatic pick for the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. | Erika Ferreira | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Erika started dancing at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance at the early age of 6, and has recently graduated from SBAD’s competitive program. As of now, Erika has studied ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, acro, contemporary and modern dance. She is currently a student at Etobicoke School of the Arts as a dance major and plan to graduate by the year 2010. Alongside from training at SBAD she has also received training from the Alvin Alley American Dance Theatre and the Qunite Ballet School of Canada. She has also had the opportunity to work with great choreographer from companies such as Dancemakers, Ballet Creole, and Alvin Alley. Erika is also a choreographer at Etobicoke School of the Art for the musical theatre department, and is recently a coach/choreographer for T.dot Tumblers Academy Inc. provincial gymnastics team. Erika enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion dance within all the students at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. |

| Glenn Gilmour | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Glenn Gilmour started his dance training at age 5 in Windsor ON. with tap lessons. After taking several forms of dance he took his first ballet lesson at age 8. Upon graduating from grade 13, and his local dance school Glenn entered the National Ballet Company. In a very short period of time Glenn's technical ability and the energy and excitement he brought to the stage was recognized and the National Ballet Company promoted him to soloist after 3 years and then to principle dancer 2 years later. Amongst the many wonderful choreographers Glenn had the opportunity to work with such as David Adams, Erik Bruhn, Celia Franca, Walter Gore, Andrée Howard, Norman Morris, Grant Strate. John Cranko stands out to be one of the highlights in Glenn's time with the National Ballet Company. In 1964 Glenn went to dance with Ballet Rambert in London England, as a principle dancer. Upon returning to the National Ballet of Canada, Glenn spent another 4 years with the National Ballet Company as a principle dancer. Glenn was then invited by Betty Oliphant to join the National Ballet School's teaching staff. With his tenure at the National Ballet School Glenn developed into a world class teacher and examiner with the Cecchetti Society. He has also brought his incredible knowledge and teaching talent to such famous schools as The Royal Swedish Ballet School, The Royal Danish Ballet School and Company to mention just a few. What Glenn brings to his teaching is a sense of theatre and a reason for every movement as well as an incredible sense of technique challenging his students to achieve their personal best. Glenn Gilmour's talent in the studio is not just limited to teaching but he is also considered to be a choreographer of renowned recognition. |

| Tiffany McLean is the former owner/director of Tiffany's Dance Elite. Tiffany trained and resided in Los Angeles for one year on a full dance scholarship for Tremaine Dance Centre. She travels across Canada and the United States teaching master classes, choreographing and adjudicating. She has choreographed industrial shows for Wella, Clairol, The Gemini Awards and The Toronto AIDS benefit "Fashion Cares". Her former students have worked with Justin Timberlake, Brittany Spears, Aaron Carter, Janet Jackson and appeared in commercials,music videos and the films "Chicago","The Music Man" and "Diary of a Tennage Drama Queen." | ![]() |

| Blake McGrath | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Blake McGrath, born November 21, 1983, in Mississauga, Ontario, is a Canadian professional dancer, best known for being one of the contestants in the first season of FOX's dance competition, "So You Think You Can Dance. At the age of twenty-one, McGrath had already danced with stars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Ashanti, Destiny's Child, P!nk, Craig David, and Jewel. He has appeared in Gap campaigns (with Sarah Jessica Parker), and in advertisements for iPod, Old Navy (which he also choreographed), Hummer, and Janet Jackson. In 2001, McGrath was chosen to perform on Michael Jackson's thirtieth anniversary special. In 2004, McGrath performed alongside Paulina Rubio at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards. In addition, McGrath appeared in the 2007 reality TV show "Dance Life" produced by Jennifer Lopez, and also graced the pages of several magazines such as the cover of Hotshoes and Dance Spirit Magazine December 2006 issue. McGrath's film credits include the Oscar award winner "Chicago" and the 2005 movie musical, "Rent". McGrath is now branching out as an entertainer. He is choreographing more and more in addition to acting and singing. He continues to travel the glob, teaching Master Class workshops to inspire children through the art of dance. |

Jane Wooding was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto in 1970, and went on to study in England, Holland and Germany. Entering the National Ballet of Canada in 1972, Jane performed Romantic, Classical and Contemporary repertoire, working with such exceptional mentors as Celia Franca, Karen Kain, Veronica Tennant, Erik Bruhn, Rudolf Nureyev, and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Joining the National Ballet School staff in 1978, Jane taught ballet, repertoire, pointework and pedagogy for 8 years. She also rehearsed young dancers for National Ballet of Canada’s Nutcracker from 1979 until 1992, including two months in Tokyo and Osaka, preparing Japanese students for the Company’s tour of the Orient. Jane has also taught on the faculties of the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, York University and George Brown Dance, teaching ballet, pointework and repertoire. A popular guest teacher, Jane has also taught for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, L’Ecole de danse de Quebec, Dance Teq, Dance Fuzion, Boston Ballet Summer School, Balletmet Summer School in Columbus, Ohio and is a founding Director of Fleet-Wood Dancentre in Collingwood, Ontario. Ms. Wooding is a Fellow and an Examiner for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Cecchetti Faculty. Past Chair of the Ontario Branch, Jane was elected to the National Executive Council of the Cecchetti Society of Canada serving from 2000 – 2005. In 1997, Jane received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for outstanding community service in the Collingwood area. She is an Advisor to the Muskoka Ballet Scholarship Fund, and has served on the Board of the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts. |
