Teaching the appreciation and
joy of dance, has always been the main focus of the Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. Classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatic, Pointe Work and Musical are offered to general division students
from age 3 to adult, at various levels ofability.
The recreational program teaches the basic principles and terminology as well as developing a healthly body to go with a positive attitude about ones self. The program is designed to offer basic classes at every level of ability as well as every age level. The teachers encourage strong group values as well as helping each student develop their individual goals.
At Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance our recreational students enjoy the highest quality of instruction by our professionally trained teachers. Our teachers have regular police checks done, like a day school. Unlike other dance programs we do not have senior students or teenagers teaching our recreational classes. Even our 3 year old students benefit from the highest quality of teaching instruction. Live accompanists (not CD's) are used in all our junior through senior ballet classes, to help round off this exceptional recreational program.
All junior to senior students have the opportunity to
audition for our highly acclaimed special training program and ourcompetitive dance program; which represents the school
at various competitions throughout the year.
All junior students and up are offered the opportunity to participate in a year end
performance, which takes place in June at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. |
